Built in 1940 by aviation pioneer Donald Douglas as a 24-hour cinema for his aircraft factory workers, the Aero was lovingly restored and reopened by American Cinematheque in 2005. The intimate venue hosts retrospectives, Q&As with filmmakers, and the legendary annual Dusk-to-Dawn Horrorthon.
